Fullarton Park Community Centre
This exhibition featured nineteen mixed media paintings. The theme related to the idea of energy and the connections between all things, celebrating the joy and power of beautiful colours and intriguing textures.
This exhibition was officially opened on 1 July 2016 by guest speaker, Sarah McDonald (South Australian visual artist and principal teacher at Sarah McDonald's Art School).
Celeste 2016, 121.5 x 121.5cm
This artwork was developed in successive layers of paint, which were then carved into to create the crystalline imagery. More paint and coloured glazes were then worked onto the top layer to create depth and brilliance.
